Thank you amulbunny. But i do think i tend to get boring when i am on vacation because i am chilling out too much and things are very nice and easy and kind of the same, get up late, watch the news, go for a run, read in the bathtub, watch some HG channel, take a nap, cook dinner and read some more and watch ME TV. Today i actually watched three hours of Tabath's Salon Takeover. i love doing this kind of stuff on vacation but it's not exactly great fodder for the blog.
I didn't even check in here myself yesterday and i see the stats show that 43 people viewed this blog. I figure if i can just come up with the right topic that invites participation more people would post and that would be more fun than just listening to me.
I'll think of something. I hope your summer is going well!
I like to think of it as a prequel to when we begin repeating ourselves over and over like our mothers.
I think the trick is to elaborate on your story just enough or tell it in a slightly different way so folks aren't sure if it's a new story (or post) or maybe they just can't remember for sure if they have seen/heard it before.
I don't know you amulbunny, but my guess is you can' be quite sure if Jo is just reposting or if you don't remember. . .
louie, i totally agree about redundancy being underrated and i'm not kidding. I love familiarity - i think i get that because i hated my military brat roots. I don't mind at all or get bored that my days are very similar. I love the steadiness of my summertime off and the unencumbered time where i am not having to be doing too many different things. But it's just not exciting to hear about.
If i knew how iPhoto worked on this new computer i would put up more photos of my unmade bed and my outdoor plants to show y'all how i spend my time, only i did that last year already. That's what i mean about redundant. It's boring to anyone but me.
I am the antithesis of that dos equis commercial... both sides of my pillow are always hot!
Too bad i don't know how to post photos yet. louie and i are sewing tomorrow at her house. I am finally going to make that pillow for my brother and his son out of my nephew's jeans and their dog blanket (washed of course!)
omg - you HAVE to figure the photo thing out. this is a travesty! and you had me halfway sold on a mac! if i couldn't post photos online i'd die!
i'm glad you're going to get that pillow done!
sorry i have been MIA. i guess it's mostly good that i have almost no time to be online these days, although a little unencumbered time is VERY appealing right now.
Your ideas are never redundant. Trust me, I live with redundancy every single day.

Redundancy is underrated
