OK, I will likely be here by myself blogging about the Oscars, but it's been kind of tradition for me and even though I'm almost always disappointed in the Best Picture I do like making fun of the celebrities and love their dresses.
I am wearing a 15 year old pair of drawstring baggy rolled up cuff pants from Costco that I think I paid $17 for. I have a glass of Spellbound Syrah in my glass. Not sure I will stick it out for the whole time, but I am interested in Chris Rock.

I have only seen The Martian (which I do not believe is Oscar worthy, though I liked it). And I saw Spotlight. I read the book Room, but haven't seen the movie. I do like that actress Brie Larson. She was in a really good Netflix indie film called Short Term 12.
SO far my favorite dress is JK Simmon's wife's gold dress. I like her hair too.
Matt Damon's pants are too short.
Brian and I just said to each other as we sit here in our comfortable baggy clothes that we are so glad we are not famous and talented and have to do that red carpet stuff and have to be clever as a microphone is shoved in front of us. They would probably get a photo of me digging my underwear out of my butt I'm sure at some point, cause I do that a lot.
Cate Blanchette always wears the weirdest shit. I like her hair though, but it looks like she was attacked by a blue ostrich. I can't help but thinking what would Joan Rivers say? I miss Joan.
So many liars at the Oscars! Robin just told Cate her dress was gorgeous.
Chris Rock: If they nominated hosts, I wouldn't even get this job!
Right out of the shoot he's going for it! Yay Chris.
Joke that gives a shout out to Kevin Hart. Nice.
Chris: This no nomination no-black thing has happened 71 other times.
And black people didn't protest. Why? Because we had bigger things to protest than who won Best Cinematographer.
Everybody got mad. Jada is going to boycott the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna's panties. I wasn't invited.!
Chris Rock is killing it!
Chris Rock: Not fair that Will Smith got aid $20 million for Wild Wild West either. Hahaha... THAT was a terrible movie!
Well done Chris Rock!
I am going to probably take this post down and quit posting and look on FAcebook instead. All of a sudden my blog is popping up a photo to choose photos in order to make me prove I'm not a robot. And that wsn't happening until this last post. Damn blogger. But I guess you get what you pay for and blogger is free.
How was Spotlight?
I haven't seen any of the movies this year. I'm so far behind!
Oh boy, I need to do a new blog post, maybe tomorrow when Brian is at band practice. I liked Spotlight Amanda. I just didn't know if it was worth an Academy Award, but then I watched it while babysitting Brady when he was taking a nap next to me on the sofa and I was likely a bit distracted so I may have missed some things. I will watch it again. I love Mark Ruffalo! It's definitely worth seeing. I also want to see Carol when it is released on Netflix. I think soon.
